Lurssen’s mega yacht launch to overshadow others considerably

.Named after mythical god Lei Gong of the Asian culture, Lurssen’s latest mega yacht Thunder splashed waters at Bremen. After 24 months of construction at Germany’s Aumund facility, April 3rd of 2017 witnessed this mega yacht launch.
A look from the outside –
Exterior designing of this 120 m plus mega yacht beholds the legendary name of Espen Oino. Latest news reports reveal its hull with a bulbous bow and jet black finish. While this latest yacht release gave enthusiasts a glimpse of its five deck superstructure, it will include a vast central window stretching over three decks.
Thunder boasts of an angular and dark look. Its hull is an amalgamation of sharp lines and cu
rved edges which add a classy effect to the overall vessel profile. Lurssen claims to use Teak wood for the five decks while the hull is blended with tensile steel and highly durable aluminum.
Until the mega yacht launch, no update was available regarding the interiors of Project Thunder. However, in a press conference, Lurssen was heard saying that interiors of this 120m vessel will have traditional soupçons. Although speculators claims the use of Teak wood for most its interiors, nothing is official as of now.
Speaking of the builder –
Destined to be delivered by the end of 2018, this latest yacht release is sure to create a lot of buzz among its enthusiasts. Lurssen claims this to be their largest ever superyacht. The power house will comprise 2 MTU engines power output – rating of which is still unknown.
Lurssen is currently enjoying a high stake with the releases of 123m Project Jupiter and 111m Project TIS. Moreover, 139m Project Redwood will release by 2019 which will even surpass Thunder regarding size.
As of now, expectations are high around the mega yacht launch of Project Thunder and will soon take the limelight of this yachting world.
