The first quarter of 2018 will see the unveiling of Benetti’s new Super Yacht – Spectre. The Italian port city of Livorno saw this 69 m vessel move shed at its Benetti yard. Unveiling the first look of its incredible exteriors designed by Giorgio M Casetta it won many hearts. Iconic Naval Architect Mulder Design contributed its artwork to this latest super yacht built for John Staluppi.
Engine Specs of this latest super yacht –
This Mulder Design incorporates a high speed cruising hull which provides 20% to 30% greater
speed without the use of lightweight construction or excessive engine power. This allows Spectre to cruise at more than 20 nautical miles. It is powered by the 2 MTU (12V 4000 M93L) engines churning 3,460 HP from each unit.
This latest super yacht complimented by generous mechanisms that enable vibration reduction and lesser noise. Benetti claims that using the standard 210,000 fuel tanks, this super yacht will be able to cover a range more than 7,000 nautical miles sailing at 12 knots.
Designing nitty-gritties –
This super yacht launch will open up the interiors of Spectre to the enthusiasts who have been sculpted by Benetti’s in house designers. It offers a classic Italian fair and spreads across five spacious decks of varying layouts which offer some majestic views.
Accommodation of 12 people includes a couple of luxurious owner cabins. One of them opens up to an exclusive hydro massage tub complimented by a sun lounging area. A private terrace applauds the VIP cabins housed on the main deck. This is coupled with two more cabins on the lower deck.
Extra Amneties –
Spectre comes with added amenities that include a BBQ Beach Club, Helicopter Landing Pad, Swimming platform, Outdoor Bar and an Owner Study. As per source, this elite vessel will not be available for charter after the super yacht launch.
Although there is much anticipation on the part of enthusiast, yet Benetti will still have to do some fittings this latest super yacht.
