Benetti’s Classic 121 series unveils its 35th affiliate – Lady Lillian

On 18th May, 2017, the 35th member of the iconic ship building company Benetti hit waters for the first time in Viareggio. Coined to be an affiliate of the Classic 121 series, it has been bestowed with the name of Lady Lillian. The unveiling of this latest super yacht took place under the supervision of its owner and a few pristine guests. As per reports, this vessel measures near to 50m in length and includes state of the art amenities for its dwellers.

A greater insight –

As per latest reports, Lady Lillian is carved out from an aluminium super structure that constitutes of a fibreglass hull. The name of Stefano Righini associates itself with the exterior design of this vessel; interior decor lays credit to Francois Zuretti.

News excerpts from the voice of Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of Benetti states that, “Lady Lillian is one of our finest finishes in the last couple of years. This masterpiece wouldn’t have gained its grandeur without some fine touches from Righini and Zuretti. This yacht launch is going to mark a revolution in the history of yachting.


Technicalities at a glance –

Designers of Lady Lillian has equipped this vessel with a 42,500 litres of fuel tank. Such immense volume allows this latest super yacht to traverse a range of 3,400 nautical miles. Top speed clocks at 15 knots while cruise velocity stays put at 13 knots. Such immaculate power comes from a couple of MTU 2000 M72 engines generating 1,450 HP.latest super yacht

Notable designing aspects of this yacht launch include a maximum draught of 8.18 m beam with a minimum of 2.26 m. It aids this vessel to provide an accommodation of 10 guests in luxurious cabins. An alfresco dining provides a unique ambience that opens up on to a private Jacuzzi and a bar.


Final touches –

Delivery of this vessel is scheduled for the fall of 2017. As per reports, Benetti has no intentions of chartering their latest super yacht as of now. Only time will tell how this vessel stands out to the test of time.
